West Development Company started in 1970 as owner Billye West began to invest in his local community.  His company, West Electrical Contractors, a full service electrical and general contracting firm, started in 1961.  In the 1970’s, Mr. West began to build commercial properties for himself, for lease, or for sale.  Over the years, the five West children have returned to work for West Electrical Contractors and West Development with the purpose of expanding the construction and real-estate businesses.

Today, this family works to provide services to public and private businesses, schools, churches, industries, retail and commercial ventures through its experienced building and investing background.  With five (5) multi-tenant shopping centers, many stand-alone buildings, and over five million dollars per year in professional electrical and general contracting, this family works each day to do its part to ensure the success of it’s projects and its tenants.
